SCDI Committee Organizes Awareness Meeting for HR Employees

Under the patronage of Mr. Fahed Fahad Al-Ajmi, DMD, Finance & Admin Affairs, Sourcing Capability Development Initiative (SCDI) committee held on 22/12/2011 an awareness meeting at KNPC H.O for clarifying the goals of the committee and the completed stages that will be applied during 2012 for KNPC HR employees. The meeting was held within a series of communication activities aiming to update the HR personnel with the achievements carried out in this regard and to let them know their duties and responsibilities in the following period. It’s worth mentioning that the SCDI committee represents one of those initiatives related to the HR 2030 strategy.
The meeting started with a speech by Mr. Salman Al-Kafeef, Committee Acting Manager who welcomed the attendees and confirmed the importance of this meeting which aims at summarizing the latest updates and developments related to this initiative.
After that, Mr. Fahed Fahad Al-Ajmi, the initiative sponsor welcomed the attendees and emphasized the necessity of communication with the HR employees to make them acquainted with the committee activities. He also referred to the need for applying the unified model of the technical requirements, pointing out that an evaluation will be conducted for all HR employees of the oil sector according to this model to improve their performance and skills to reach the required levels through the identification of the strengths and areas which need more development by providing a training for each single employee.
Furthermore, Mrs. Haifa Al-Youhah, Controller Talent Management and the committee member gave a detailed presentation on the phases of the initiative, identifying the accomplished achievements up till now and the future phases, beside reviewing in details the unified model of the technical requirements. At the end of the meeting, the attendees posed their inquiries regarding the initiative and the model, that were all replied by Al-Ajmi and the committee members.
